Dear Rider,

Welcome to the 2011 SFK Ride for Success.

We are proud to host the 2^nd Annual SFK – Success for Kids Ride for Success. This 40 mile bike ride will take you though the wonders of New York City as you and your fellow cyclists ride to support the work of SFK NY.

The SFK program is a unique social and emotional learning platform that allows teachers, students and parents to reflect upon their everyday choices and focus on sharing their goodness and talents with the world. Ally, one of our 3^rd grade students, put it best when she said, “SFK makes you want to be a better person.” Our teachers are working in schools around New York City and serving over 1200 children.

Thank you for joining the Ride for Success, one of our largest fundraisers, and for supporting SFK NY as we help all kids to be “their best self” We know that the cycles of poverty and violence in our city put kids in precarious situations. The tools of SFK give them strength to break through these cycles and make responsible decisions that will change the trajectory of their young lives.

We look forward to an exciting day on Sunday, June 5, 2011 and thank you for joining the Ride for Success.
